Tractor Linkage To The Machine
Ensure that the height of the tractor drawbar is approximately the same
height as the drawbar of the machine when the machine is standing on the
ground with the frame and drawbar parallel to the ground.
The height of the drawbar of the machine may be adjusted by using the
holes provided in the frame. This will mean that when in work, the
height of the tractor drawbar is approximately 100mm higher than the
machines drawbar (see figure 8).
Adjustment For Levelling The Frame
The level of the frame of the machine may be adjusted by means of the
spring loaded telescopic screw. The frame should be approximately
parallel to the ground when the machine is in work.
When in work the screw allows balanced compressions of the springs on
each side of the articulating block.

Adjusting The Tines (fig.1)
Adjusting the spring tension:
Hold the thread stem (item number 1) with a spanner
Adjust the spring tension with the flat spanner (that was delivered with
the machine) by turning the nut (item number 2). Then tighten the locking
nut (item number 7)
Adjusting the tine angle:
Tighten the adjusting bolt (item number 4)
Tighten the locking nut (item number 6) after achieving the desired angle.

Unfolding The Machine For Work
The machine should be on hard, flat ground before unfolding.
1. Operate the hydraulic wheel lift cylinders to fully raise the
machine.
2. Turn the front to rear levelling screw to ensure that the machine is
parallel to the ground.
3. Operate the hydraulic folding cylinders to ensure the wings are
fully closed.
4. Remove the safety retaining pins (items number 2, fig 7) and place
them in their holders.
5. Operate the hydraulic safety latches (item number 1, fig7) to the
open position.
6. Operate the hydraulic cylinders to unfold the wings into the
working position.
7. Operate the hydraulic safety latches (item number 1, fig7) to the
fully closed position.
Folding The Machine For Transport:
1. Operate the hydraulic wheel lift cylinders to fully raise the
machine.
2. Turn the front to rear levelling screw to ensure that the machine is
parallel to the ground.
3. Operate the hydraulic safety latches (item number 1, fig7) to the
open position.
4. Operate the hydraulic folding cylinders to fully close the wings.
5. Operate the hydraulic safety latches (item number 1, fig7) to the
fully closed position.
6. Remove the safety retaining pins (items number 2, fig 7) from their
holders and place them in the locking position.
