Jeffrey P. Gr een e is a self-taught fu rn itu re
maker specia lizing in formal l8th-eentury
designs. He has a degree in mech ani cal
engineering from MIT and a life-lon g
fami liarity with peri od furniture. With his
wife, Gr een e ope rates th e Ball & C law, a
furn it ure show room of his pieces in Wickford,
Rhode Island .

engineering from MIT and a life-long
familiarity with period furniture. With his
wife, Greene operates the Ball & Claw, a
