Foreword
The vehicle Aprilia MXV 450 is mainly supplied with a software that
has two programmes for the connection to the electronic control unit
that manage the engine:
Û ServiceOem564
Û ECUGLoader-1000
For software use, it is necessary to copy the content of the CD folder
in a Hard disk folder of a PC with operating system Microsoft
Windows XP®.

ServiceOem564
It is a software that allows to connect to the Walbro ECUG-2 control unit to read the
parameters, to adjust some of them and to self-diagnose directly from the PC with
operating system Microsoft Windows XP ® .
In order to use it, first connect the system
supply cable code 891018 to the supply socket and the cable code 855899 to the
self-diagnosis socket (in this case use the connector with two wires).
If the PC has serial port RS-232 just access to the
main screen of the program by clicking twice on
the icon of executable ServiceOem564.exe
If the PC does not have serial port RS-232, you will need an adaptor PCMCIA which
requires installation of a driver for correct functioning of the peripheral device.
In order to pass from use of the ServiceOem564 to the software for control unit
mapping it is necessary to modify the connections (see related pages) before
disconnecting the cable code 891018 from the supply socket.
The USB adaptors do not work!
