Using Control Points – correcting colour cast

I would like to correct the color cast in a JPEG or TIFF image for more natural colors.
Response
If the image contains a grey or white area, a Neutral Control Point can be used to easily
correct the image.
*Control Points can also be used to correct RAW images, but here, we explain the process for
correcting JPEG images.
Before
The image exhibits a blue color
cast.
After
The color cast is corrected for natural
coloring.

STEP 1: Open an image
This image exhibits a blue color cast. We will correct this image to produce natural colors.

STEP 2: Apply Neutral Control Point enhancement
Click the Neutral Control Point tool.
Click on the portion of the image that should have been originally white or grey.
A Neutral Control Point will appear over the portion of the image that was clicked.
A B/W/N Control Point step is added to the Edit List. Neutral Control Point is displayed
under the B/W/N Control Point step.
At the same time, the Neutral Control Point dialog is displayed.
When the Neutral Control Point is moved, image colors are modified, so drag the
Neutral Control Point to the position that achieves the most natural colors.
