STEP 1: Open an image exhibiting the red-eye phenomenon
Open an image in which the red-eye phenomenon has occurred.

STEP 2: Enlarge display, centering on one eye
Select the Zoom Tool.
Click on one eye, or drag the Zoom Tool across one eye to enlarge display to
100–200%.
The eye portion of the image is enlarged.

STEP 3: Select the Red-Eye Control Point
Select the Red-Eye Control Point.

STEP 4: Apply Red-Eye Control Point enhancement
Click in the center of the pupil to add a Red-Eye Control Point. The red-eye
phenomenon is reduced or eliminated.
The Red-Eye Control Point dialog will be displayed.
Drag the size slider left or right to adjust the size of the Red-Eye Control Point’s effective
area until maximum results are achieved.
Place a Red-Eye Control Point in the
center of the pupil to immediately
reduce or eliminate the red-eye
phenomenon.
Drag the size slider left or right to
adjust the size of the Red-Eye Control
Point’s effective area to the size at
which maximum results are achieved.
The size of the Red-Eye Control
Point’s effective area can also be
specified in the Size box in this dialog.
