(1)--Introduction--
This is the PC version of Silent Hill, which is one of the most (if not THE most) scariest
games you'll ever play. The PC version is based on ePSXe, a Playstation emulator. ePSXe
is the main "engine" for the game. However, we have tweaked it to fully support Silent Hill
and provide the best game experience possible. We've also simplified the configuration process
greatly, so no more hassling with various emulators trying to get the game to work correctly.

(2)--Configuring Settings--
Run the Silent Hill launcher (using the "Silent Hill" shortcut in the start menu or desktop).
Then click where it says "Settings". It's a wizard-like step-by-step process and explains each
option as you see it. For different computer systems, different settings work better. You'll
just have to try various options to see which settings work best.

(3)--Controls--
Esc = Exits the game. There's no prompt so make sure you have the game saved first (if needed).
F1  = Quick Save
F2 = Cycle Quick Save Slots
F3 = Quick Load (from currently selected slot)
F5 = Disable\Re-enable Mouse Support (see description below)
F10 = Freeze (pause) anywhere in the game (even videos). Press again to un-freeze.

Up Arrow    = Walk Forward
Down Arrow  = Walk Backward
Left Arrow  = Turn Left
Right Arrow = Turn Right
Spacebar = Action \ Fire Weapon \ Use
Backspace = View Map \ Exit Menu Screens
I	    = Access Inventory
TAB = Turn On or Off Flashlight \ Exit Menu Screens
Left Shift = Run (hold down to run, release to walk)
Left CTRL = Hold Down to Raise Weapon (then press Spacebar to fire)
Q	    = Sidestep Left
E	    = Sidestep Right
Z = Look Around (hold it down then use arrow keys)
P = Pause Game \ Skip Movie Scenes

(4)--Using Quick Save\Load--
The quick save feature allows you to save anywhere at any point in the game. If you want
to be able to use multiple quick saves, use the cycle quick save slots option (F2). Whatever
slot you currently have it set at is what the Quick Save (F1) and Quick Load (F3) use.

For example, you can use F2 to pick a quick save slot. From then on whenever you quick save
or quick load, it'll use the data from that slot. Push F2 again (cycle to another slot) and
it will now start using the quick save\load data from that new slot.

Although you can use quick save, you can still save normally using the save points throughout
the game. Whenever you access the "Save" screen at a save point, you can use both save Slot 1 and
Slot 2. There's no difference, so use either one. Also, you can save more than once in both
slots. You can have pretty much an infinite number of different saves.

(5)--Using Mouse Support--
The mouse support isn't really that great, since the game wasn't originally meant to be
used with a mouse. However you can use it if you want. Press and hold either the left or right
mouse button. Then move the mouse up a little bit until you start moving. While you're
walking (or running), you can move the mouse left or right to turn in that direction.

The mouse only works for movement. To fire weapons and use items you still have to use
the keyboard keys. To disable mouse support, press F5. Press it again to re-enable it.

(6)--How to Play In A Playstation--
If you want to play Silent Hill in a playstation, then it's possible. All you need to do is
burn the "data.iso" to CD using any program that supports ISO burning (Nero, Easy CD Creator, etc).
Please note that in order to play burned games you need to have a modchip installed (or know how
to do the swap trick).
