SERVICE RECORD PAGES
The following pages provide a complete record of the routine
services and Anti-Corrosion Warranty Inspections carried out on
your car.
This information is important and could affect your warranty
entitlement. Always make sure your MG Rover dealer stamps and
signs the next service record page on the completion of each
service visit.
REPLACEMENT SERVICE HISTORY BOOK
When the final service record entry has been completed, you
should order a replacement Service History book from your
dealer in order to continue keeping an accurate record of your
car's service history.
Remember to transfer the details recorded under ‘Vehicle Details’
to your replacement book.
ANTI-CORROSION WARRANTY INSPECTIONS
These inspections must be carried out annually by an MG Rover
dealer in order to maintain validity of the Six Year Anti-Corrosion
Warranty. You should be aware that the inspections will be carried
out free of charge ONLY if carried out at the time of a routine
service.
After completing the Anti-corrosion Warranty Inspection, the
dealer will complete the necessary details on the service record
page and, if necessary, list any repairs that are required. It is
important to remember that it is the owner's responsibility to
ensure that these repairs are carried out if the anti-corrosion
warranty is to remain valid.

intervals shown below (whichever occurs first).

Note: An oil service or inspection must be carried out every 12 months,
or when the service interval display reaches zero (whichever is the sooner).
Nominally, the display will zero after 24,150 km (15,000 road miles).
However, the precise distance that can be travelled before the display
reaches zero will depend upon the manner in which the car is driven and
the type of motoring to which the car is subjected. For more information,
refer to ‘Routine servicing’ in the ‘Maintenance’ section.
Note: Brake fluid and coolant replacement must be undertaken at
intervals of 2 and 4 years respectively. These additional service operations
can be carried out in combination with any of the oil services or inspections
shown in the chart above.
