When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook,
insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo
and draw through both loops on hook.

Single Crochet Decrease: (sc dec): Draw up a lp in each
of next 2 sts, yo and draw through 3 lps on hook.
Intermediate Skill
Double Crochet Decrease (dc dec): Keeping last loop of
each st on hook, dc in next 2 sts, yo and pull through 3
loops on hook.
Size: Fits 6-12 months. For larger sizes, use larger hook.
For smaller size, use Sport Weight yarn and smaller hook.
Materials:
Double Loop Stitch (dlp): Insert hook in st indicated,
wrap yarn around index finger of left hand twice more and
insert hook through lps on finger following direction
indicated by arrow (see Fig. 1a), being careful to hook all
loops (see Fig. 1b), draw through st pulling each lp to
measure approximately 1”, remove finger from lp, yo and
draw through all lps on hook.
Frankenstein: Worsted Weight Yarn
Bright Green (MC) - 2 oz, 110 yd (56 g, 100 m);
Dark Grey (DG) - 2 oz, 110 yd (56 g, 100 m);

Pom-Pom
Buttons - 3/8” diameter x 3
Cut cardboard 1” square. Wrap yarn around square 20
times (see Fig. 1) . Slip yarn off square and firmly tie a 12”
piece around middle (see Fig. 2) . Leave the yarn ends
long to attach the pom-pom. Cut loops at each end and
trim to a 1” smooth ball.
Cotton Crochet Thread Size 10 - Small amount Green
Steel Crochet Hooks - Size 1 and Size 3.
(Red Heart Classic used for models. )
