Import sheet parts : This option helps you to import the details
of a sheet part from a file type to a quotation line. The details
are imported by using the corresponding importer of the file
type.

Quick draw : This option helps you to draw an image of the
sheet part for the item of the quotation line using the QuickDraw
window.

Draw module : This option helps you to draw an image of a
sheet part for the item of the quotation line through the Expert-
Drawing window.
4.
When you click the Duplicate button, you will get the Quote
line: (Duplicate) dialog box to duplicate the selected quote.
5.
In the ‘Item’ section, enter the ‘Quantity’ , ‘Delivery date’ ,
‘Material’, and ‘Thickness’ of the item, and then click Save
(
) button.
6.
In the ‘Operations/Costs’ section, click New ( ) button to
select operations and enter the additional costs incurred by the
item. You can click Delete (
) to delete an operation or cost.
7.
When you click the New button, you will get a drop-down list
with the following options:

Operation : This option helps you to select an operation for the
item from the Operations table.
x
Cost : This option helps you to include any additional costs
incurred by the operation.
8.
Enter the required details for the selected option, and then click
Save ( ) button. Close the Quote window. The system
creates a new line for the quote.

# The products created with the quotation tool are saved as draft
products. They will not be available as real products until the
sale order is created.
# Using Quotation tool, you can only create lines for items of
type ‘Sheet part’.
# Using Quotation tool, you can quote more than one line in the
same window and all the necessary data is available in the same
window.
5.2 How to create and manage sale orders?
You can create and manage the sale orders of your enterprise in the Sale orders
table (Main menu -> Sales management -> Sale orders ).

You can also view the total weight of the item in the Sale orders table.
You can create sale orders directly, against a quote or by copying the details of an
existing sale order.

You can create sale orders directly as follows:
1.
On the File menu, point to New , and then click Create new element or
click Create new element (
) button on the standard tool bar.
2.
Enter the required details and on the File menu, click Save or click Save
(
) button on the standard tool bar.
You can click Actions list in the Sale orders table and then select Order against
quote to create a sale order against quote, and click Copy sale order to create a
new sale order by copying the details of the existing sale order.
The Sale orders lines table below the Sale orders (Details) window (refer Figure 27:
Sale orders (Details) in page 32) helps you to manage the ‘Quantity’ , ‘Total price’ ,
‘Profit’ , and so on. You can also copy the sale order lines from one sale order to
another by selecting Copy sale order lines application in the Actions list .
# You can also send the accepted sale orders to manufacturing by
selecting Manufacturing orders against sale orders application in the
Actions list of the Sale orders table.
# The system also allows you to manage customers exceeding credit
limits by displaying a warning message when you try to accept the sale
order (refer 4.2.1 Execute the Dunning Application in page 26) .
5.3 How to create and manage Delivery notes?
You can create and manage the delivery notes in the Delivery notes table (Main
menu-> Sales management -> Delivery notes ).

When the delivery note is shipped, you can also manage the batches of those items
in the warehouse. You can create Delivery notes directly or against a Sale order.
To create Delivery note directly, do the following:
1.
On the File menu, point to New , and then click Create new element or
click Create new element (
) button on the standard tool bar.
2.
Enter the required details and on the File menu, click Save or click Save
(
) button on the standard tool bar.
You can click Actions list and then click Delivery note against order to create
Delivery note against sale order.
The Delivery notes lines below the Delivery notes (Details) window provides the
detailed information of all the items to be delivered on a specified date. The weight
of the item is also displayed.
5.4 How to create and manage Invoices?
You can create and manage invoices of the sales transactions in the Invoices table
(Main menu -> Sales management -> Invoices ).

The Invoices table also displays the total weight of the item.
You can create invoices directly, against a sale order, or against a delivery note.
To create invoice directly do the following:
1.
On the File menu, point to New , and then click Create new element or
click Create new element (
) button on the standard tool bar.
2.
Enter the required details and on the File menu, click Save or click Save
(
) button on the standard tool bar.
You can click Actions list from the Invoices table and click Invoice against order
to create invoice against sale order, and click Invoice against delivery note to
create invoice against delivery note.
The Lines tab in the Invoices (Details) window provides information regarding the
price, discount, and so on.
The Pay days tab in the Invoices (Details) window provides information regarding
the invoice amount and payment status.
The Distributions tab in the Invoices (Details) window provides information
regarding the journal entries (Refer 10.4.1 Automatically recorded journal entries
in page 73) .
